Our Programs
At The WARM Center, we believe that compassion, hope, and dignity are the foundation for lasting change. Our programs are designed to meet people where they are—whether that’s providing a warm meal, safe shelter, affordable housing, or the skills to build a brighter future.
From emergency services to long-term support, each program reflects our commitment to helping individuals and families find stability and independence. Explore the areas below to see how WARM Center is making an impact in our community every day.
Attire for Hire
The Attire for Hire is a clothing program with a mission to provide low-income individuals and community members with work-appropriate clothing (including shoes, coats and accessories) for going on job interviews, beginning employment, etc.
Street Outreach
Homelessness doesn’t always look like living in a shelter—many individuals live outside, in cars, or in places not meant for human habitation. WARM’s Street Outreach team meets these neighbors where they are, bringing food, blankets, hygiene kits, and safety supplies directly into the community.
Community Soup Kitchen

WARM Supportive Homes
WARM Supportive Homes provides permanent housing to six disabled individuals and two families with disabled adult members. We provide a safe, supportive environment, and thorough case management.
Harvest Homes
Harvest Homes is a program designed to provide homeless families with shelter while promoting self-sufficiency and giving them hope for a safer, healthier future. We operate thirteen remote residential apartments designed for Harvest Homes.
Anita’s Kitchen
The community meal site at WARM serves nearly 100 meals every day, nearly 40,000 last year. Lunch is served 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm daily, and dinner is from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm daily, at 54 Spruce Street, near Riverhead Building Supply and Immaculate Conception Church.
Emergency Shelter
The WARM Shelter is a 19-bed facility designed to help homeless men and women who suffer from a variety of circumstances. While staying at the Shelter residents must remain alcohol and drug free, follow house rules, meet with their peers and staff.
