Food & Meal Assistance

Hunger is one of the most urgent needs in our community, and WARM responds with meals that nourish both body and spirit. Through Anita’s Kitchen—the only soup kitchen in the region serving hot meals every day of the year—we provide over 40,000 lunches and dinners annually. We also deliver summer lunches to children who lose access to school meals and support regional soup kitchens to ensure no neighbor goes hungry.

But these programs are about more than food. They’re about dignity and connection. A meal served with kindness can spark trust, open doors to other services, and remind someone that they are not alone. Volunteers, churches, and civic groups play a vital role, turning donated food into moments of community and care.

By easing hunger, we give people the energy, health, and confidence they need to focus on the next steps in their journey—whether it’s finding housing, securing work, or caring for their families.
